“Love Songs for the Falling Leaves is The Surgical Staff’s first album. It’s an emotional album, sweeping in tone and a bit big in execution. The songs are an adventurous, harder take on folk and alt-country, blown up with arrangements filled with violin, cello and piano, but with more piss and vinegar than is usually associated with those instruments. You might think of it as an album made by a small, intense indie orchestra with a few pains in the heart to detail, a minor chord celebration with no small emphasis on the celebration.”

Anatolian Fusion is a Turkish, “Fusion Music” band formed in 2007, in State College, PA by Hasan Koc. Since 2007, the Anatolian Fusion project has grown into an ensemble, featuring:
Hasan Koc - Baglama
Safakcan Tuncdemir - Woodwinds
Ayse Ozgur Pehlivan - Vocals
Dagistan Sahin - Drums
Emre Kultursay - Bass
Mahmut Sami Aktasoglu - Percussion
The group’s music has its roots in a wide cultural and geographical region around Anatolia, the mainland of Turkey. Anatolian Fusion’s authentic music is an amusing blend of ethnic sounds and measures with modern musical organization.
